Since 1999, the Marketing Solutions Team has helped to art direct numerous hard cover Passion and Inspire International Stylebooks here in the Washington DC metropolitan area as well as across the United States.
You Can Be Internationally Published! Hair designers, haircolorists and makeup artists have traveled to these exclusive international photography sessions from across the USA to participate in these professional competitions, many of which have been hosted at the Graham Webb International Academy of Hair.
It is important for most hair designers and makeup artists to have their artistic creations published in this series of premier quality books, which are respected as representative of the best hair designs from over 40 countries across the globe. YOU have the unique opportunity to participate and to have your works published!
Nationally Respected Photographers: Tom Carson, Scott Bryant, Paul Rumohr and other internationally recognized specialists in hair, makeup and spa photography are always selected for these special sessions.
Total Image: You can register up to 1 to 6 models per shoot day. You must facilitate your own very attractive models, terrific haircuts, great haircolor, finished hairstyles, wardrobe and makeup artistry for a total image.
Publication Schedules & Additional PR Opportunities: Salons published will receive a courtesy copy of the stylebooks after each book comes out, which is usually at least 9 months after each photography session. When available, you will also receive the valuable outtake photographs to use for your own local marketing, advertising and PR projects. These stylebooks and photographs are distributed approximately 9 months after each professional photography session. The Marketing Solutions Team does not have any editing power, thus you are asked to work with the most attractive models available, while staying strictly within each book’s noted category.

IMPORTANT: Classic and contemporary fashion forward hairstyles are needed. Each model should have haircolor and highlight accents, while having their hair designs very well finished. Avant garde hair designs are not desired.
Family Stylebooks: Open for all attractive Women, Men and Teen Models from 5 to 30 years of age.
Haircolor Stylebooks: Adult Female & Male Models from 14 to 30. Every model must have very visible haircolor.
Upstyles & Special Occasion Stylebooks: Female Models from 14 to 30 for Bridal, Prom, Formal & Party Hair Fashions. Flower girls will be acceptable. Prom, bridesmaid’s dresses and wedding gowns are encouraged.
Men’s Stylebooks: Handsome men from 14 to 30 are needed.
NOTES: These exclusive events are national ‘competitions’ and publication remains at the discretion of each publisher. Only the best looking models and hair designs will be published. Many times, photographs for some of your models may be held by the publisher to put in a different stylebook, especially if your hair design fits a different theme better.

Fill out the attached Preliminary Registration and Entry Form to be considered. Call 703-359-6000 or email LOskin@MktgSols.com to receive a Photography Session Application Form by email. Hair designers and salons will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis for each photography session.
Professional Models: Unless otherwise indicated, your models should be between 14 and 30 years old. They must be either professional models or VERY attractive non-professional model, who will be comfortable in front of the camera. If needed, you can find models on ModelMayhem.com or via a posting on Craig’s List. These events remain photography competitions, so it is very important to find the proper models for each stylebook theme.
All haircutting, haircolor and highlight services should be performed on your models BEFORE the day of the shoot, while hairstyles may be finished on location. Makeup, wardrobe, hair ornaments, accessories and finishing touches `must be provided by you' and can be performed at this photography session.
Registration will be taken on a `FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED' basis and must be accompanied by a pre-payment. Make registration checks payable to Marketing Solutions, Inc. for $100 for up to 3 models. You may submit up to 6 models or looks for $175 or up to 9 models and/or total looks for $250.
